A serious accident on E 85, between Suceava and Iași, resulted in the death of two people after a truck crushed the car they were in.

On Friday afternoon, a devastating accident occurred on E 85, at the border between Suceava and Iași counties, when a truck lost control and violently hit a car in which two people were traveling. The impact was so strong that the vehicle was crushed, and the rescue teams found that the two victims had sustained injuries incompatible with life. Military firefighters from Suceava intervened at the scene, using rescue vehicles, along with SMURD ambulance crews from both counties. Although the truck driver was conscious and cooperative, he refused to be transported to the hospital after the medical evaluation. The accident shocked the local community, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding it.
