Two people died after a truck overturned onto their car on DN2, between Cristești and Drăgușeni, in Iași County.

A serious road accident occurred on DN2, between the localities of Cristești and Drăgușeni, where a truck overturned onto a car, resulting in the death of two people. Military firefighters from Suceava intervened at the scene, sending two special vehicles with extraction equipment, a SMURD ambulance, as well as teams from the Suceava and Iași County Ambulance Service.

According to initial information, three people were involved in the accident, and the two victims in the car were trapped, having injuries incompatible with life. The rescue teams managed to extract them, but the medical staff could only confirm their death. The truck driver was conscious and cooperative but refused to be transported to the hospital after the medical evaluation.
