Tragedy in Galați: A 2-year-old child found dead, his siblings in serious condition due to malnutrition.

A tragic incident took place in Galați, where a two-year-old child was found dead in an apartment. The information has been confirmed by sources close to the investigation, indicating that the authorities were alerted by a relative of the family, who was unable to contact the woman. The children's father is working abroad.

At the scene, police and medical teams discovered the child's body, and the victim's siblings were also present in the apartment, both in serious condition due to malnutrition and dehydration. The woman was found by the intervention teams, and the two living children were taken over by the Galați County Ambulance Service.

"They were transported to the hospital, the mother shows signs of shock, depression," said Oana Munteanu, spokesperson for IPJ Galați, to News.ro. Munteanu added that "even the deceased child showed no signs of violence, possibly being malnourished."

Numerous medical teams, from the Police and ISU, are intervening at the scene of the tragedy to manage the situation.
