Traffic on the A1 Bucharest - Pitești highway is restricted on Monday until 4:00 PM, on the first lane in both directions, due to works being carried out at kilometer 22 towards Pitești and at kilometer 23 towards Bucharest, informs the Romanian Police. The congestion is significant, especially towards Pitești, where vehicle columns are forming. Additionally, on the Capital's ring road, at the entrance to the A1, high traffic values are being recorded. The Infotrafic Center recommends drivers to be attentive while driving, to signal their lane change intentions in advance, to avoid dangerous overtaking, and to maintain a proper distance between vehicles to prevent road accidents.
