The restrictions apply on the highways "Trakia", "Struma", "Maritsa" and "Evropa", as well as on certain sections of the "Hemus" highway, in the regions of Sofia, Lovech, Targovishte, Shumen and Varna. Restrictions will also be imposed on sections of national roads, including I-1, I-2, I-3, I-4, I-5, I-6 and I-7, as well as on second-class roads. Exceptions to these restrictions will be made for trucks transporting perishable food, goods requiring temperature-controlled conditions, live animals, and hazardous materials.
