Today, June 12, the road traffic on DN 7C - Transfăgărășan has been resumed between Bâlea Cascadă, Sibiu County, and Piscul Negru, Argeș County. The authorities, through the Brașov Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges, have announced that traffic will take place daily between 07:00 and 21:00, and drivers are advised to drive cautiously due to unstable weather conditions at high altitudes.

Another significant problem on this section of the road is the presence of bears, which can often be seen near the roadway. Tourists are warned not to feed the bears, as this behavior is strictly prohibited by law and can result in fines of up to 30,000 lei. Authorities emphasize that feeding bears not only constitutes an offense but can also have serious consequences on the behavior of wild animals.
