Traffic on the Olt Valley will resume in both directions starting June 25

The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Craiova announced that road traffic on the Râu Vadului Viaduct will be resumed in both directions starting June 25.

The works to replace the expansion joint covering devices have been completed, and the contractor is waiting for the poured concrete to reach the necessary strength to allow the resumption of traffic in safe conditions.

The authorities emphasize that the measure will come into effect after the completion of technical checks.

The works began at the beginning of June and imposed traffic restrictions on DN7, a heavily trafficked sector, frequently causing vehicle queues.
