Traffic blocked on DN 1 at Voila: a crane caught fire while in motion

On Friday morning, traffic is completely blocked on DN 1, in the Voila area, due to a fire that broke out at a crane in operation. The incident was reported to ISU Brașov, which urgently mobilized two firefighting teams with water and foam, a water tanker, and a SMURD crew. Upon the arrival of the intervention forces, the fire was widespread across the entire truck, but fortunately, the driver managed to self-evacuate before the flames spread.

The area has been isolated over a distance of approximately 100 meters for the safety of traffic participants. Brașov Police announced that traffic is diverted to the alternative route DJ 104A, urging drivers to exercise caution and to follow the instructions of the police officers present in the area. Specialized teams continue to intervene to extinguish the fire and clear the roadway.
