Traffic blocked on A3 due to a overturned tanker

Traffic is blocked in both directions of the A3 motorway, in the area of the locality Gruiu, Ilfov County, due to the overturning of a GPL tanker that broke the median barrier.

Representatives of CNAIR have warned that there is a risk of explosion, and the incident was caused by the explosion of a tire. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Traffic has been diverted to DN 1, and the tanker remains blocked on the motorway, in the direction of Bucharest – Ploiești. Authorities estimate that traffic will resume after 12:30 PM, but caution is advised in the area.
