The Bucharest - Ilfov Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport (TPBI) is temporarily modifying 21 public transport lines and introducing three shuttle lines on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Bucharest, for the final stage of the Tour of Romania. The measures are necessary because road traffic will be restricted between 07:00 and 15:00 along the competition route.
The 100-kilometer race will take place on Calea Victoriei, Splaiul Independenței, B. P. Hașdeu, Vasile Pârvan, Berzei and Buzești streets, Piața Victoriei and Șoseaua Kiseleff, returning toward the capital’s center and finishing on a circuit.
Lines 61, 66, 69, 85, 86, 97, 100, 104, 122, 123, 137, 168, 178, 203, 205, 226, 311, 368, 381 and 385 will have shortened or diverted routes, while line 90 will be temporarily suspended. Passengers will be served by shuttle lines 669, 690 and 691, operated with trolleybuses with autonomous capability.
The changes will remain in effect until the traffic restrictions are lifted.
In the fourth stage, held between Brașov and Ploiești, victory went to Hungarian rider Barnabas Vas, who became the leader of the general classification.
The final stage starts on Sunday at 12:00.
