The Bucharest-Ilfov Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport (TPBI) is extending the operating hours on Monday evening for lines 1, 5, 10, 85, 90, 104, 311 and 640 to facilitate transport for spectators attending the Romania-Sweden football match. The game is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. at the National Arena in Bucharest.
The measure concerns the transportation of supporters before and after the match. Public transport operations will be coordinated by public order officers and the Traffic Police Brigade.
Depending on the situation on the ground, road traffic could be restricted on Pierre de Coubertin Boulevard. In that case, trolleybuses on lines 85 and 90 will turn around at the Vatra Luminoasă Depot, while passengers will be able to board them at the “Aura Buzescu” stop.
Line 104 will operate along a modified route between Iancului Road, Mihai Bravu Road and Decebal Boulevard, while line 143 will be diverted via Pantelimon Road, Ferdinand Boulevard and Obor Railway Station Boulevard to the “Baicului” terminal.
Spectators can also use lines 335, N1, N10, N102 and N109, which will operate according to their normal schedules.
