The City Hall of Timișoara, represented by Mayor Dominic Fritz, has definitively won the eviction process of a family that illegally occupied the building on Loga Boulevard 52. The Arad Tribunal accepted the municipality's appeal and ordered the release of the property, which will be returned to the community. The mayor emphasized the importance of this decision, stating that the truth has been restored, although the system does not always function flawlessly. The building was recovered in 2023, after a complex legal process, and the illegal nature of the restitutions from the '90s was demonstrated. The City Hall initiated the eviction action after access was blocked by the occupants. Additionally, the municipality obtained the rejection of the request to cancel the property rights of the Romanian State, thus strengthening its position. The building, with an area of 1,202 square meters, will be utilized for the benefit of the community, aiming to transform it into an educational space.
