The new arena is to be built on the site of the old 'Dan Paltinisanu' stadium and will have 32,000 seats, without an athletics track and without a complete roof. The estimated cost of the new arena is almost 167 million euro, money provided by CNI and Timis County Council. Demolition of the current stadium could take 6 months, while construction of the new stadium would take another 3 years.
