Three minors from Buzău, aged between 14 and 16, are being investigated under judicial control for qualified theft in a continuous form, assault or other violence, and complicity in qualified theft. The girls are accused of stealing products from several stores between November 2025 and February 2026, causing damages estimated at 5,000 lei, and exhibiting violent behavior towards customers and employees. Investigators have determined that the minors had the mental capacity to understand the seriousness of their actions.
One of the minors was involved in several thefts, including an incident on January 1, when, together with four other minors, she assaulted a person to ensure their escape after the theft. Acts of violence against a 13-year-old child were also reported, causing injuries. The other two minors assisted in committing the thefts and assaulted the victim. The police have sanctioned the parents for failing to fulfill their obligations to supervise the minors.
