A thief stole sound equipment worth 3,000 lei from the former Dacia cinema in Galați.

The former Dacia cinema in Galați, currently undergoing modernization, was the victim of a theft just before its inauguration. A thief managed to break into the building and steal equipment from the sound room, worth approximately 3,000 lei.

He slipped past the workers without being noticed and went directly into the technical room, from where he stole an audio mixer, two microphones, and a stand. The equipment belonged to the company that operated in the building and was to be handed over to the municipality once the work was completed. The images captured by the surveillance cameras have been sent to the police, who are searching for the suspect.
