Termoenergetica insists that the bills for hot water and heating are adjusted according to the temperature provided in the contract, after the mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, accused that Bucharest residents pay for the thermal agent when there are failures, as if it were supplied at parameters.

The clarifications come in response to the announcement by the president of PSD Bucharest, Daniel Băluță, regarding the convening of an extraordinary meeting of the CGMB to discuss the payment for hot water only at the correct temperature. Termoenergetica emphasizes that it has clear obligations to deliver the thermal agent and that, in case of non-compliance with these obligations, consumers have the right to a reduction in the bill. The methodology for calculating reductions is regulated by Order 91/2007, and consumers can contest the bills in case of discrepancies. It is also mentioned that the mayor of Sector 4 will discuss these regulations in the meeting on February 24.

Moreover, a few days ago, the Bucharest City Hall stated that Bucharest residents pay for hot water and heating strictly based on actual consumption and the parameters at which the thermal agent is delivered, not at maximum level when services are not provided accordingly.
