The Mayor of Sector 6, Ciprian Ciucu, announced that the Belșugului Road has a construction permit, but the works will not start immediately, but in March 2026. Ciucu explained on Facebook that the process of obtaining the permit was hindered by bureaucracy, involving numerous stages and meetings. Although the works could theoretically start next week, the mayor believes it is not a good idea due to the cold season, which would complicate the construction site. He proposed that the works should begin in the spring, emphasizing that he will take into account the wishes of the residents in the area. Ciucu promised that the project will include wide sidewalks and modern utilities, with completion estimated for the autumn of 2026.
