A woman from Sibiu was detained for allegedly killing her mother for inheritance, with the help of a nurse.

A woman hired a nurse to administer a sedative to her mother that would cause her death; the act took place at the victim's home in Sibiu. Subsequently, the two women suffocated the victim with a pillow to ensure that she would die. After the mother's death, the daughter came into possession of the inherited goods, which she sold, and moved to Dubai.

The two women were detained for 24 hours a year and a half after the commission of the act.
