The Bihor County Council has finalized the tender for the realization of the VELO APUSENI VELO APUSENI cycle-touristic route, won by Dacia Asphalt S.R.L.

The VELO APUSENI project will connect the counties of Bihor, Cluj and Alba at a cost of 34,004,309.99 lei, excluding VAT. The builder has 12 months for implementation, including 2 months for design. The route will use a non-functional railroad and county roads, facilitating access for cyclists from Oradea to the Apuseni Mountains. Funded by PNRR, the project will promote cycling tourism in Bihor, with a positive environmental and economic impact.
