The association 'Om pe munte' draws attention to the precarious state of the Șaua Strunga refuge, the only permanent shelter in the Bucegi area, which is in danger of collapse. With a capacity of seven places, this refuge provides essential shelter for hikers, especially in bad weather conditions. The structural deterioration, caused by persistent dampness, requires rapid action to prevent the last refuge in the Bucegi from disappearing. Constantin Țăposu has launched a fundraising campaign to raise funds for the rehabilitation, underlining the importance of this shelter for the safety of tourists.
