The prosecutors requested a recourse in cassation, and if it is rejected, the conviction will remain unchanged. In the event that the request is accepted, a new court date will be set to analyze the reasoning of the Prosecutor's Office. Iorgulescu previously obtained the annulment of a more severe conviction through a similar appeal, and is currently in a private clinic in Italy, after being taken out of the country.
