According to the Termo Alert application, 38% of the properties in Bucharest, meaning approximately 3,500 buildings, are facing a deficient supply of thermal agent, affecting both heating and hot water. Additionally, 55 properties have completely stopped the supply. The most affected areas are sectors 2 and 3, where CET Sud cannot deliver enough hot water, with about 1,300 blocks in Sector 2 and nearly 2,000 in Sector 3. Failures in the primary circuit have also been reported in Sector 2. The Termoenergetica company announced that the problems were caused by a failure at CET Sud, but ELCEN assured that the delivery of the thermal agent was not interrupted. Although the technical incident has been resolved, ELCEN emphasized that the dysfunctions in the apartments are not caused by its activity, but by the state of the transport and distribution network.
