178 household customers from Galați were left without natural gas after the fire caused by the fall of the Russian drone

An unfortunate incident occurred in Galați, where 178 residential customers were left without natural gas supply after a drone caused a fire at the BR1B building on Brăilei Street no. 45. Distrigaz Sud Rețele interrupted the gas supply on Friday at 02:35 as a safety measure, and the resumption of supply depends on the inspection of the affected installations.

Company representatives emphasized that the measure was taken for the safety of consumers, and the common usage installation belongs to the customers, not being the responsibility of Distrigaz. Residents must contract an ANRE authorized operator to remedy the malfunctions and send the necessary documents to Distrigaz for the resumption of supply. The company warned consumers to be attentive to the smell of gas and to avoid actions that could cause sparks until the situation is verified.
