The Sector 6 City Hall received the association protocol from Metrorex for the extension of Line M3 towards Militari Residence

The Sector 6 City Hall announced that it has received the association protocol from Metrorex, an important step for the realization of the subway to Militari Residence through the extension of Line M3. Although this protocol has been approved by the Board of Administration and the General Assembly of Metrorex Shareholders, the City Hall emphasized that this does not mean that the works will start immediately. This is a necessary administrative step for the project to reach the design and execution phase.

The project provides for the extension of Line M4 with four new stations between Păcii and the Bucharest Beltway, two stations between Preciziei and Chiajna, and two stations between Preciziei and the Latin Quarter. After the signing of the protocol, the partner institutions will develop the design theme, the feasibility study, and will establish the final route. The works will only begin after the completion of these stages.
