CNAIR announces the increase in the road usage fee and the crossing tariffs for transport vehicles starting from September 8, 2025

Starting from September 8, 2025, the rates for road tolls and fees will change, according to OG 23/2025. The road toll for cars will cost between 3.5 and 50 euros, while for freight vehicles it will range from 10 to 1,425 euros, depending on the weight. Fines for not having a road toll will vary between 500 and 17,100 lei, depending on the type of vehicle. Additionally, the crossing fees for the bridges over the Danube will be adjusted, with prices ranging from 16 to 133 lei for a crossing, depending on the weight of the vehicle.
