Mayor Mihai Chirica announced that the earthly remains of Grigore Alexandru Ghica, the last ruler of the Principality of Moldavia, will be repatriated from France and buried next to the Palace of Culture in Iași. The efforts for repatriation were carried out in collaboration with the heir family and the French authorities.
