The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, announced that an emergency ordinance will allow the use of footage and photographs from the Environmental Guard as legal evidence.

Diana Buzoianu stated that, through an emergency ordinance, the status of the filming and photographs taken by the commissioners of the Environmental Guard will be clarified, which can be used as evidence in court. The government has already established the conditions for the use of equipment, including drones and video cameras. The aim is to ensure that offenders cannot contest the legality of this evidence, thus protecting public health.
