Prefect Andrei Nistor has started safety works on the streets in Sector 3 built over Transgaz pipelines, imposing traffic restrictions and urgent measures.

The Prefect of the Capital, Andrei Nistor, announced the initiation of works to secure the streets in Sector 3, built without adhering to safety standards over the Transgaz pipelines. He conducted a field visit, alongside representatives of Transgaz and local authorities, to assess the situation. Nistor emphasized that the safety of citizens is a priority and announced the temporary closure of the section on Brăţării Street for interventions.

Additionally, speed limits will be imposed on eleven streets in the area. The Prefect highlighted the lack of building permits for most of the streets and requested the necessary documentation to verify the legality of the projects. Long-term measures will include proposals to prevent similar situations and hold those responsible accountable.
