The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) announced that road traffic on the Giurgiu-Ruse Bridge will be temporarily suspended between November 4, 9:00 AM, and November 5, 9:00 AM, for all categories of vehicles. On the first day, the suspension will be total, and on the night of November 4 to 5, the restrictions will remain in effect only for trucks and freight vehicles. MAE recommends that Romanians use other border crossing points, such as Vidin-Calafat and Silistra-Ostrov. Citizens can request consular assistance at the numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Sofia and are encouraged to consult official websites for additional information.
