The Ministry of Education has announced the publication of the evaluation and grading criteria for the Romanian language and literature exam within the National Assessment 2026, which took place on June 22.
The exam started at 9:00 AM, and students had 120 minutes to solve the questions, with a maximum score of 100 points, of which 10 are awarded automatically. The criteria, available on the evaluare.edu.ro platform, detail the correct answers and the scoring method. The evaluation of the papers is done digitally, with each paper being graded by two teachers. The first results will be posted on July 1, and appeals can be submitted on the same day. The following exams will include the mathematics exam on June 24 and the mother tongue exam on June 26. The results of the National Assessment are essential for high school admission.
