The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, emphasized that, starting from 2013, no inspections have been carried out on the system managed by the ESZ operator, although this was a legal obligation. The documents presented to the control body highlight a lack of coordination of the National Administration in carrying out activities and interaction with subordinate authorities.

Diana Buzoianu thanked the general director Florin Ghiță for his work, mentioning that, in recent months, the number of inspectors has significantly increased, and local inspections have intensified. In the upcoming period, a detailed analysis will be conducted, including on illegalities in gravel extraction areas and beaches. Florin Ghiță will return to his previous position, and his resignation will be coordinated with the meeting of the ANAR Management Board to dismiss the directors responsible for failing to fulfill their obligations.
