The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, emphasized the necessity of reforms in the healthcare system, proposing a reorientation of patients from continuous hospitalization to specialized outpatient care and day hospitalization. Although the budget will not be cut, efforts will be made to streamline expenses. An important measure concerns the criteria for occupying leadership positions in hospitals, which will be adapted according to the specifics of each healthcare unit, with annual evaluations based on both medical and administrative performance.
