The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, stated that work is being done on a reorganization of the Public Health Directorates, aiming for a clear separation between public health and health inspection.

This reorganization will involve a reallocation of responsibilities, so that health inspectors will no longer be under the authority of the executive directors of the Public Health Directorates. Rogobete mentioned that this year, illegally issued approvals have been identified, which highlighted a loss of administrative and legislative control over these institutions. The minister emphasizes the need for extensive reforms and legislative changes to restore control and efficiency to the Public Health Directorates.
