Eduard Novak contradicts Nicușor Dan after the complaint to the CCR: "Do the decisions of the ICCJ no longer matter?"

Eduard Novak, former Minister of Sports and initiator of the law regarding the use of a minimum percentage of Romanian athletes, publicly contradicted the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, after his referral to the Constitutional Court regarding the "Novak Law". Novak stated that the action of the head of state ignores clear decisions of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, which established that the measure does not contravene European law, emphasizing that the normative act has a solid legal path and does not violate the free movement of workers, while expressing his confidence that the CCR will take into account the decisions of the Romanian courts.
