According to a recent survey conducted by eJobs, 75.6% of employees and candidate respondents have been significantly affected by price increases, especially by the hikes in utility rates (89.2%) and food (85.6%). As a result, 72% of respondents have cut non-essential spending, and 36.7% have given up going out in the city. Additionally, 65% would give up non-salary benefits for a higher salary that covers inflation.

In the last 12 months, 63.4% have not had salary increases, and 41.3% are looking for a new job. The majority of respondents (73.4%) do not believe that the economic situation will improve in the next 6-12 months. The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,150 people in September.
