The interim mayor of the Capital, Stelian Bujduveanu, announced that the first four families affected by the explosion in the Rahova neighborhood have moved into medium and long-term apartments, fully furnished and equipped, in safe areas of the city. These families, some with injured members, have benefited from the support of Habitat for Humanity Romania to rebuild their lives.
Bujduveanu mentioned that efforts are underway to identify other housing for the remaining affected families, and 111 people are temporarily housed in hotels. Additionally, 384 people have received counseling and personalized support. The mayor thanked non-governmental organizations and volunteers for their assistance and provided information about donation accounts to support the affected families. This mobilization highlights the solidarity of the Bucharest community.
