The Dobrogea Hotel in Constanța has been temporarily closed following inspections by the Consumer Protection inspectors, who discovered significant irregularities affecting the safety and comfort of consumers. The President of the County Commissariat for Consumer Protection, Horia Constantinescu, announced that serious problems were identified, such as damaged walls, room doors in an advanced state of degradation, unhygienic carpets, and unsecured electrical installations. Additionally, the bathrooms were dirty and degraded, and the reception ceiling posed fire risks. The breakfast offer was nonexistent. As a result of these deficiencies, the hotel has been closed until the issues are resolved, and the owners have been fined 10,000 lei.
