Sources: Cristian Rădulescu, the director of Grup Feroviar Român accused of bribery, has been placed under judicial control on bail.

Cristian Rădulescu, the general director of the Romanian Railway Group, has been placed under judicial control by the DNA, being accused of bribery. The bail has been set at 500,000 lei.

The DNA conducted searches at his home and at the Grampet Group, of which the railway transport company is a part. Rădulescu is suspected of having offered 500,000 euros as a bribe to a practitioner in insolvency to obtain a property located on Bulevardul Lacul Tei in Bucharest, a property that belongs to a company undergoing preventive concordat within the Grampet Group. This is the largest private freight railway carrier in Central and Southeastern Europe, owned by businessman Gruia Stoica.
