The director of DSP Brașov has been placed under judicial control for disclosing confidential information and obtaining undue benefits.

Ancuța Ofelia Blănaru, the executive director of the Brașov Public Health Directorate, has been placed under judicial control by the DNA, being accused of three offenses related to the disclosure of confidential information. Prosecutors claim that Blănaru informed representatives of the Brașov County Emergency Clinical Hospital and the Brașov Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children about the DSP inspections, allowing them to prepare. In return, she benefited from free medical analyses for relatives.

Blănaru is accused of disclosing information about health inspections, thus violating confidentiality. During the judicial control period, she must comply with several obligations, including not leaving the country without the prosecutors' approval and not communicating with the persons involved in the case. In the event of violating these obligations, the measure of judicial control may be replaced with house arrest or preventive detention. The DNA recently conducted searches in Brașov in connection with this case.
