The interim general mayor of the Capital, Stelian Bujduveanu, stated that the current priority is ensuring the safety of the building in Rahova, which was affected by an explosion. After an emergency meeting, he explained that the measures will be implemented in stages, starting with the dismantling of the upper floors of the building. The authorities have not yet conducted complete assessments, having only preliminary reports available. Bujduveanu emphasized the importance of assessing not only the affected building but also those around it, to evaluate the risks to the community. Additionally, the Emergency Fund of the Bucharest Municipality has been supplemented with 1,900,000 lei to cover the costs of the necessary operations.
