Bujduveanu: Free public transport passes for owners of damaged cars in the Rahova explosion

The interim mayor of the Capital, Stelian Bujduveanu, announced that the Roads Administration has started the removal of damaged vehicles following the explosion in a building in the Rahova neighborhood, to allow access for technical teams. Owners of the affected cars will receive free public transport passes for half a year. Currently, 78 people are accommodated in hotel units provided by the City Hall, and some of them choose to temporarily stay with relatives. The City Hall is working on adopting additional support measures, including psychological assistance and a recovery plan for the affected area. The explosion on Friday resulted in the death of three people and injured 20, affecting a building with 108 apartments and approximately 400 residents.
