The Administration of the Streets in Bucharest has implemented a safety measure for pedestrians by installing bollards in the area of the Palace Hall to prevent vehicle access on sidewalks. The Municipality of Bucharest communicated this on its Facebook page, emphasizing the importance of protecting sidewalks for pedestrians.

In addition, damaged road signs have been replaced, and their posts have been straightened and painted. These actions are part of a broader urban regeneration plan aimed at transforming central streets into pedestrian areas with abundant vegetation to reduce pollution. The general mayor has requested the organization of solution competitions for the redesign of the areas, including for Bd. Magheru and the area of the Palace Hall, the Royal Palace, and the Romanian Athenaeum, considering the involvement of the community in the decision-making process.
