The project, which will last approximately two years, will include the widening of the road to two lanes in each direction and the construction of three road overpasses. Although the works started late, the contractor has a completion deadline of two years. Traffic could become lighter next summer, when the completion of the A0 Motorway is estimated, which will take on some of the vehicle flow. Currently, there are no traffic restrictions imposed, but the works are complicated by the utility networks in the area, which require relocation. These improvements will facilitate the connection between the localities in the east and southeast of the Capital, contributing to reducing congestion.
