The Bucharest Tribunal suspends the PNL decision regarding the organization of the Extraordinary Congress in which Ilie Bolojan was re-elected.

The Bucharest Tribunal has decided to provisionally suspend the execution and effects of the decision of the Extraordinary National Council of PNL from June 19, 2026, until the final resolution of case no. 26127/3/2026.

This decision was made following a request made by the Veștea faction within PNL, which challenged the legality of the Congress convening, arguing that the purpose was to amend the party's Statute and eliminate members with divergent opinions.

The plaintiffs also request moral damages of 250,000 lei each, totaling 4,000,000 lei.
