A 68-year-old man from Vrancea was found dead, his 66-year-old brother has been detained for murder in the form of domestic violence.

The police opened an investigation after a 68-year-old man was found dead in his home in Vrancea, Vidra commune, having multiple injuries. Investigations established that the victim may have been assaulted by his 66-year-old brother, who has been detained for murder in the form of domestic violence.

The Vrancea County Police Inspectorate informed that the suspect has been incarcerated in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center and will be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive arrest. The criminal case has been taken over by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Vrancea Tribunal, and the investigation was initiated following a report received from a woman who discovered the corpse.
