Lot 1 of the A0 North Highway, built by Pizzarotti – Retter, has 764 workers and 266 mobilized machines, with completion deadlines in 2026

The works will be completed in two stages: the DN1-DN1a section will be opened to traffic in the first part of next year, while the DN1a-DN7 and A1 section will be completed in the autumn of 2026. The works began in March 2023 and include the completion of hydraulic works and progress in soil stabilization, fillings, and foundations. Various structures, such as passages and bridges, are at different stages of execution, with beam installation deadlines set for December 2025. The route is 17.5 km long and runs through the territories of Ilfov and Giurgiu counties.
