The authorities decided to take a 13-year-old child, considered the main culprit in the Cenei murder case, and place him in a Child Protection center, through a presidential ordinance. This measure was taken because the minor's parents did not comply with the obligations set by the Child Protection Commission, including the necessary psychological and psychiatric evaluation program.
Parental rights have been suspended until the placement ruling, and the minor will benefit from evaluations and specialized services. It is worth mentioning that, although he is accused of murder, the minor is not being prosecuted due to his age.
