CFR: Temporary railway traffic restricted on the Izvoru Oltului-Voșlobeni route. A tree has fallen on the locomotive of a freight train.

CFR has announced the temporary restriction of railway traffic on the route Izvoru Oltului – Izvoru Mureșului – Voșlobeni, with circulation being interrupted due to a tree falling on the locomotive of a freight train.

Both pantographs of the train were damaged, and the contact line was de-energized, which led to the blockage of traffic, considering that there is only one track in that area.

CFR specifies that traffic will resume after the locomotive has been removed from the clearance and the contact line has been re-energized.

The affected trains at present are 1645 and 1543, and depending on the moment of resuming traffic, other delays may also occur.
