A 24-year-old man has been detained by DIICOT prosecutors in Timiș for child pornography and rape, after he, together with a 21-year-old woman, coerced a 14-year-old minor into engaging in sexual acts, filming everything with a mobile phone. In September 2025, after the teenager refused to continue the sexual relations, the two distributed the images on social media. Authorities have announced that the young man will be presented to a judge for preventive arrest, while the 21-year-old woman is being sought, as she is absent from the criminal proceedings. The Timiș County Police Inspectorate emphasized the seriousness of these acts and the continuation of the investigations.
