A 63-year-old teacher from Dolj has been detained for sexual abuse of a minor student and the production of pornographic materials.

A 63-year-old teacher from Dolj County has been detained by the police, being accused of maintaining sexual relations with a minor student for a year and a half, causing her to produce pornographic materials. According to the Dolj County Police Inspectorate, the man is being investigated for crimes of sexual acts with a minor and child pornography, both in a continuous form. Between June 2018 and December 2019, he exploited his position of authority over the student, having repeated sexual relations with her in various locations in Craiova. Following the searches conducted, the police discovered compromising photo and video files on the teacher's storage devices. He has been detained for 24 hours and will be presented to the Dolj Tribunal with a proposal for preventive arrest for 30 days.
